MAPPA’S CHAINSAW MAN: The series is set to make an appearance at the studio’s 10th-anniversary event. Chainsaw Man was one of the most popular manga in the world during its two-year run, and we’ll soon get our first glimpse of the anime. The adaptation will be handled by MAPPA, the studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan Final Season, and it seems that the show will appear during the studio’s 10th-anniversary event on June 27.
On Friday, the official Chainsaw Man Twitter account tweeted a link to MAPPA’s 10th-anniversary event website, where Chainsaw Man’s art is on the schedule. The series’ anime teaser website, chainsawman.dog, also now has a link to MAPPA’s event schedule. While it’s clear that the show will be at MAPPA’s event in some way, we don’t know if this will include a trailer and release date announcement, or just the reveal of more art.
MAPPA’s Chainsaw Man anime release in 2021
Chainsaw Man surprised fans even further with the announcement that not only will the manga be continuing with a second part in a completely different magazine but will be debuting its anime adaptation.
We have not gotten much in terms of concrete updates since it was initially announced to be in the works last December, but soon we’ll be seeing much more of Chainsaw Man as the franchise revealed when we’ll be able to see the first trailer. During a special panel celebrating Studio MAPPA’s tenth anniversary, we’ll get our very first trailer for this new anime:
The Chainsaw Man adaptation was first announced in December 2020, when the show’s Twitter account revealed the first bit of art from the anime, as well as the fact that it would be animated by MAPPA. Chainsaw Man is written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The manga takes place in a world full of evil creatures called Devils, and follows the story of Denji, a human-Devil hybrid who merged with his chainsaw-shaped dog Pochita — who was really a Devil in disguise — to become the ultimate Devil hunter.
There have been scarce details about the anime debut of the series outside of it being produced by Studio MAPPA, so hopefully this talk will reveal much more about the anime than just its first trailer. There also has yet to be a release date or window confirmed for the new anime just yet, so cross your chainsaws that we’ll get some definitive answers to at least some of these questions this June!

Attack on Titan’s anime is set up to wrap it’s story next year in 2022, but the final chapter has landed in the past few hours for the manga created by Hajime Isayama , and fans are sharing their feelings, good and bad, on social media as the Scout Regiment takes their final bow. Fans of the dark anime series are definitely divided thanks to the last events taking place in the war between the Eldians and the nation of Marley, which has spun into levels of insanity that had not been seen in the series to date.
The attack on titan revolves around the life of Eren Jaegar whose mother is devoured by a titan during an attack. Humans are slaughtered, exterminated by giant creatures called Titans. These Titans are man eating humanoids, seem to have no intelligence, devour humans and seem to do it for pleasure rather than as a source of food. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city, protected by extremely high walls. Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by the Colossal Titan that appears out of the blue. As smaller titans flood the city, Eren watches in horror as his mother was eaten alive. Eren vows that he will rid the humans from the complete existence of these Titans. The story sounds simple enough, but as the plot progresses, things get a lot more complicated and a lot darker. Attack on Titan’s fourth and final season started to air in December 2020.
