Are Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston Dating : The Prospect of Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston dating, has sent all Marvel fans into a frenzy.
Elizabeth Olsen, who plays the Scarlet Witch is possibly sparking up a romance with Tom Hiddleston who played the role of Loki. In 2015 the actors were inextricably linked with the release of their film Avengers: Age Of Ultron and their biopic I Saw The Light. The latter saw Hiddleston portray Hank Williams, and Olsen played his wife, Audrey.
Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston Relationship?
Olsen ended her engagement to actor Boyd Holbrook in January 2015, not long time after she and Hiddleston were seen together on screen. In May of that year, a source told Us Weekly that the Wanda Vision actress wanted “to make a new life for herself” and that she and Hiddleston were involved in a “casual” tryst.
A couple of months later, Olsen and Hiddleston were photographed in a car together at night in London, leading many outlets to speculate that they were on a date. That July, Us Weekly reported that the two were dating and a source was quoted saying, “Neither of them are looking to jump into a large commitment, but it’s getting more serious.”
They were openly affectionate towards each other during the Toronto International Film Festival, and “only had eyes for each other” while attending the Nashville premiere of their movie.
Around the same time that many fans began to be convinced that Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston were an official item as they cozied up during movie premieres, the Wind River actress went on the record about their relationship. The actress has also been linked to her MCU co stars- Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner.
Here’s what she said about the rumors:
“I mean, we definitely are friends and we’ve known each other for about four years,” she told the outlet, “And we happened to be at a restaurant at a wrong time having dinner. We all go out to dinner.”
Nearly a year after they were first rumored to be an item, Olsen once again struck down the idea of any romantic feelings between her and Hiddleston. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in March 2016, the Oldboy actress described the headlines as “a bunch of strangers saying a bunch of stuff that they don’t know about,” though she was also quick to shower praise on her castmate and described him as “an incredible person.”
WandaVision
Marvel came up with an extremely intriguing mini-series “WandaVision” recently after an 18-month hiatus. Fans were desperately waiting for some new content from MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) when we got WandaVision and it is unlike anything we have ever seen in the entire MCU. Created by Captain Marvel writer Jac Schaeffer, with direction from TV veteran Matt Shakman, the show is starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany in lead roles.
The show is styled like a 60s white and black sitcom in the first episode. Three out of nine episodes have been aired as of now. Wanda and Vision are brought back to life after their death into an alternate reality set in the 60s, it looks like it was Wanda’s way of coping with her husband’s death. Wanda possesses an odd sort of magic and her husband is capable of flying through the walls and how they manage to live peacefully in a white fenced neighborhood by keeping their secrets tucked away.
The plot is a suburban sitcom setting, with sharp scenes. Olsen is a naturally gifted comic actor, her mannerism and gracefulness make the show a real delight to watch. Bettany, meanwhile, mostly plays his role in the mode of a bumbling Hugh Laurie. The first episode of the show even has a live audience. The neighbors provide an extra sense of comic relief.
