Attack on Titan Manga ends officially, Fans left speechless: Here’s to the 11 year journey

attack on titan ends officially

Attack on Titan’s anime is set up to wrap it’s story next year in 2022, but the final chapter has landed in the past few hours for the manga created by Hajime Isayama , and fans are sharing their feelings, good and bad, on social media as the Scout Regiment takes their final bow. Fans of the dark anime series are definitely divided thanks to the last events taking place in the war between the Eldians and the nation of Marley, which has spun into levels of insanity that had not been seen in the series to date.

The Attack on Titans Final Season

The attack on titan revolves around the life of Eren Jaegar whose mother is devoured by a titan during an attack. Humans are slaughtered, exterminated by giant creatures called Titans. These Titans are man eating humanoids, seem to have no intelligence, devour humans and seem to do it for pleasure rather than as a source of food. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city, protected by extremely high walls. Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by the Colossal Titan that appears out of the blue. As smaller titans flood the city, Eren watches in horror as his mother was eaten alive. Eren vows that he will rid the humans from the complete existence of these Titans. The story sounds simple enough, but as the plot progresses, things get a lot more complicated and a lot darker. Attack on Titan’s fourth and final season started to air in December 2020

Attack On Titan Final Season and When is it to be aired?

The team at Mappa studio has made things official that Attack on Titan will continue in the winter of 2022, with the part two for season four(final season) and that is where the anime will end. The season’s first part included sixteen episodes but the studio hasn’t announced anything related to the number of episodes in the next part. With Eren starting his own band of dissidents, known as the “Jaegerists”, the Survey Corps now has threats from both inside and outside of their walls that might be far too much to handle.

Attack on Titan Season 3, Episode 17: “HERO” is currently sitting at #1 with a 9.9 rating, right above Game of Thrones‘ Season 6 finale. Moreover, Attack on Titan has another episode in the top ten and three more in the top 50, which is interspersed with acclaimed shows like Breaking Bad and The West Wing.

This part of the final season is said to be the best one yet.

Shonen manga and anime have always been aimed towards young demographics, particularly young male teens, which is why most series contain PG-level violence, but it also explains why most of the protagonists are teenage boys. The desire Eren possesses to avenge his mother’s death and wipe the Titans’ existence from the earth is the strongest and the maximum of how much Shonen characteristics Attack on Titan contains.

The anime contains a lot of violence and gory themes, there are enough instances where the terror of war, torture, genocide, bloodbath, mass destruction and other dark themes are touched upon and this is what makes AOT appropriate for adult viewership, especially when they learn more about that dark time in human history.

Attack on Titan revolves around the brutal realities of war, rife with themes of death, loss, duty, and perseverance. The show’s first season establishes the dystopian world and the core mysteries surrounding the origin of the Titans
