Varun Dhawan, who got hitched to his long time girlfriend, Natasha Dalal, late last month, is all set for his upcoming project’s shooting in Arunachal Pradesh.

About the ‘Bhediya’ Project
VD’s upcoming project is ‘Bhediya’ which will be directed by Stree’s director, Amar Kaushik. The film will be starring Varun Dhawan with the gorgeous Kriti Sanon who have already worked together in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale in 2015.
“The two of them (Varun and Kriti) have already worked together before, so they are aware of how they approach the script. Varun had really liked Stree and was quite excited to do a film in the same genre, which was helmed by the same director. His character is close to a monster in this project”, a source close to thr project told the reports.
They also added, “The film’s shoot will go on till May, it is a long schedule as the film will have a good amount of VFX and prosthetics, which is time consuming and necessary for any horror film. This is the first time Varun is trying a new genre of this kind, and he wants to give his best!”
This looks like an intriguing project and we all are very excited about VD’S new look and performance in this Horror project with Kriti Sanon. Bhediya will also star Abhishek Banerjee in a pivotal role. However, the official announcement is yet to be made about it.
Shooting Location for ‘Bhediya’ Movie
The shooting has been scheduled to be taking place for two-and-a-half months in Arunachal Pradesh. VD will have to let go his other work including brand commercials in order to concentrate on the prep and the shoot for Amar Kaushik’s Bedhiya.
About the Director of the Movie ‘Bhediya’
After Stree, which was directed by Amit Kaushik, the makers of the film have subsidized ‘Roohi’ in the same genre, which will be starring Rakummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The production house will also back Mujha, a prequel to Stree after wrapping up the shooting for Bhediya.
Release Date for Movie Bhediya
There was no official statement made on the release date of the movie. Although the shooting location and time for the shooting have been decided. As per the sources, the film will release later this year.
About Varun Dhawan’s plans with his upcoming movies
The 33-year-old actor was last seen in Coolie No. 1 with his father, David Dhawan co-starring Sara Ali Khan. After Bhediya, VD is tied up for Jug Jugg Jeeyo, alongside Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Neetu Kapoor. He is also committed to Anurag Singh-helmed mass action film Sanki and a biopic titled Ekkis directed by Sriram Raghavan.
