Billie Eilish and Rosalía release new spanish song 'Lo Vas a Olvidar', one of the tracks for the upcoming season of Euphoria

The highly anticipated collaboration of Billie Eilish and Spanish singer Rosalía has finally been released, titled ‘Lo Vas an Olvidar (You Will Forget Her)’.  Fans have been eagerly waiting for the long-awaited collaboration since 2019 when the pair had talked about working with each other, and now they have finally announced the song on their respective social media handles.

A collab between the two singers had been teased back in 2019

Back in April, Rosalía had shared in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that she had been working on finishing the song in her “little” studio.  “During these two last weeks I have been trying to finish the Billie Eilish collab,”, she said. “I think it’s getting quite closer. I think that the arrangements, I think that yesterday I finished the arrangements. I feel like the production, the sound design is almost done, so I just need that Billie maybe sends the vocals and they send me the ideas that they want to add because we are there.”

The song has been produced by Eilish’s brother, Finneas O’Connell, and ‘Lo Vas an Olvidar’ will be part of HBO’s hit show Euphoria’s “Part Two: Jules’” soundtrack.

‘A lot of it is in Spanish, which I think is so important’

Eilish posted about the song on her social media and even shared a snippet of her interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe where she is seen talking about how beautiful the song sounds in Spanish.

‘Lo Vas A Olvidar’ also marks Billie’s first time singing in Spanish.

Fan reactions:

Fans have been extremely pleased with the collaboration, to say the least, and took to social media to share their views

Rumors about their possible collaboration began spreading in February 2019, when Billie Eilish teased during an interview that she locked herself in a studio with the Spanish artist for a session of registrations.

Billie Eilish has dropped a series of singles since her Grammy-winning album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”. She released “Everything I Wanted” shortly before she and her brother/producer Finneas swept the Grammy Awards in January, followed by “No Time to Die,” the theme song from the still-unreleased James Bond film of the same title; and later she also releases another single titled “My Future”. “Everything I Wanted” has even been nominated for a Grammy this year.
