Billie Eilish: New Year's Surprise Releasing 16 new tracks

After becoming the youngest artist ever to bag 5 Grammys last year and making history, Billie Eilish has again been nominated for four Grammy categories this year. She has been nominated this year for the following categories; Record of the Year, Song of the year, Best pop solo performance, and Best Song written for Visual Media.

Due to COVID-19, she had to cancel her world tour after being able to perform just three shows and has been stuck at home instead, just like the rest of us.

She certainly has made use of her time quarantined at home, and she and her songwriter brother, Finneas, currently have 16 more songs that are yet to be released.

“I will say I have made and created things that I don’t think I ever would have created without this period of time. I would like things to be normal though, but I will say I’m grateful for what it’s given me” said Eilish, in her Vanity fair interview; the one she has been doing every year for the past four years.

“Right now, I have 16[songs]. We’ve been working, and I love them all!”, said Eilish. “There was a period of time, a month ago or something, we were just texting the label like, ‘Song did, another song is done, another song is done.”
