Billie Eilish released a self-directed music video for her song ‘Lost Cause’, her latest single from her album ‘Happier That Ever’, which is coming out on July 30.
Billie Eilish’s Lost Cause
In ‘Lost Cause’, we see a confident Eilish in blonde hair with her girl-group, as she goes around the house with them; playing darts, snacking in the kitchen, and just having fun. Like most of her songs, this one was also produced by her brother Finneas.
Through the lyrics, Eilish is trashing her ex-boyfriend. “I used to wish you were mine, but that was way before I realised someone like you would always be so easy to find,” the seven-time Grammy winner sings in the song.
Happier Than Ever
Last month Billie announced that she will be releasing her sophomore album on July 30, and has already released four tracks from the album, including ‘My Future’, ‘Therefor I Am’, ‘Your Power’ and ‘Lost Cause’. “Your Power” debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and garnered over 150 million streams in its first two weeks.
“MY NEW ALBUM ‘Happier Than Ever’ OUT JULY 30TH! this is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” she wrote. “I can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel.”
She also announced her tour dates of “Happier Than Ever, The World Tour,” which has sold out on all dates of the first leg in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.
In 2020, Eilish also wrote a song for James Bond movie “No Time To Die,”, with the same title, and in February, she debuted the documentary film “The World’s A Little Blurry.”
