Blackpink: Rosé Confirms Solo Debut Release Date Through Instagram

BLACKPINK member Rosé confirmed the female idol’s solo debut date on March 1, 2021.

When is BLACKPINK Rosé’s Solo Debut?

On Mar. 1, YG Entertainment and BLACKPINK’s Rosé shared two teasers to their social media accounts. One features Rosé lying down on what appears to be a leather beige couch. Her upper body is covered in lilac-colored fabric. Her name is spelled out in huge, yellow letters. On top of her name is her debut date – Mar. 12, 2021.

In another teaser, we see Rosé standing behind outdoors, in a place that appears to be lit on fire. The fog clouds up the redness of the fire. Behind Rosé is a sign that reads, “No way out / You are now.” Though Rosé’s face is not seen, we see her silhouette and the bottom of her red dress. Once again, her name is spelled out in big letters. Her solo debut date is below her name – Mar. 12, 2021. Rose’s fellow Blackpink members Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa also shared the teaser posters on their Instagram Stories to show support for their main vocalist.

Blackpink also announced Rose’s debut through their official Twitter account by sharing the two teaser posters.

The singer gave a sneak preview of the solo effort during January’s livestream concert, The Show, during which she performed the track “Gone.” A recent teaser trailer for the “Gone” video featured the 25-year-old artist lying on the floor of a bathroom, and also staring blankly into the distance as she sat at a dinner table set for one.
