Blumhouse horror movies : A complete round-up of every Blumhouse horror movie is all set to release on OTT platform. Amazon Prime Video has announced this year’s Welcome to the Blumhouse, featuring an all-new set of unique, disturbing thrillers designed for an original and varied story.

Produced by Blumhouse Television and Amazon Studios, Bingo Hell, Black as Nights, Madres and The Manor will premiere this October exclusively on Prime Video. The Welcome to the Blumhouse once again features both established and groundbreaking actors working with emerging directors, mostly women.

Bingo Hell and Black as Night premieres on October 1, followed by Madres and The Manor on October 8.

Welcome To The Blumhouse‘s final four films slated for a October 2021 release.

> BINGO HELL (October 1, 2021)

Logline: A brave senior woman fights to protect her beloved neighborhood from the evil forces that have taken over the local bingo hall and are killing residents in a gruesome manner.

Brief Description: When a sinister character threatens the inhabitants of low-income communities, a feisty senior tries to stop him in Bingo Hell, a wickedly original horror movie with a hellishly hilarious twist. When 60-year-old activist from the neighborhood Lupita (Adriana Barraza) discovers that her beloved local bingo hall has been taken over by a mysterious businessman named Mr. Big (Richard Brake) gathers his older friends to fight a mystery entrepreneur.

But when her longtime neighbours begin to die under terrifying circumstances, Lupita suddenly discovers that her least concern is gentrification. Something terrifying has settled in the quiet suburb of Oak Springs, and with each new shout of “Bingo!” another victim falls prey to his devilish presence. As the prize money grows and the body count continues to grow, Lupita faces the terrifying realisation that this game is truly a winner-takes-all.

Logline: Resourceful teenager hungry for revenge, along with her trusted friends, spends the summer battling vampires terrorizing her New Orleans.

Brief Description: The resourceful teen leaves her childhood behind as she battles a gang of deadly vampires in Black as Night, an action horror hybrid with a strong social conscience and a biting sense of humour. Fifteen years after Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans, a new threat leaves a mark on Big Easy in the form of stab wounds to the throats of the city’s vulnerable displaced population.

When her drug-addicted mom becomes the undead’s last victim, 15-year-old Shawna (Asjha Cooper) vows to settle the score. Together with three trusted friends, Shawna devises a daring plan to infiltrate the vampire mansion in the historic French Quarter, destroy their leader and restore his fanged students to human form. But killing monsters is no easy task, and soon Shawna and her crew find themselves trapped in a centuries-old conflict between warring vampire factions, each struggling to take over New Orleans as their permanent home.

Brief Description: Beto (Tenoch Huerta) and Diana (Ariana Guerra), a young Mexican-American couple expecting their first child, move to a small town in California in the 1970s, where Beto was offered a job on a farm.

Isolated from the community and plagued by confusing nightmares, Diana investigates the neglected ranch where they live, finding a gruesome talisman and a box containing the belongings of previous residents. Her discoveries will lead her to a truth far stranger and more terrifying than she could have imagined.

Logline: After a mild stroke, Judith Albright reluctantly moves to a historic nursing home, where she learns that supernatural power is killing the residents.

Brief Description: An evil force preys upon the occupants of The Manor’s sleepy nursing home, a gothic tale of terror with a modern twist. When a mild stroke diminishes her ability to take care of herself, Judith Albright (Barbara Hershey) moves to Golden Sun Manor, a well-reputed living facility. But despite the best efforts of the staff and a developing friendship with fellow older Roland (Bruce Davidson), strange events and nightmarish visions convince Judith that an ominous presence haunts the vast mansion.

As the townspeople begin to mysteriously die, Judith’s insane warnings are dismissed as fantasy. Even her devoted grandson Josh (Nicholas Alexander) believes her fears are the result of dementia, not demons. Since no one wants to believe her, Judith must either flee the mansion or fall victim to the evil that lives there.
