Bridgerton star Regé-Jean page joins the eminent cast of the upcoming Netflix film ‘The Gray Man’ with Chris Evans, Ryan Goslings, and others, as confirmed by Netflix today.
Star of the recently released hit series and the heartthrob of many, Regé-Jean Page, will next be seen in the upcoming Netflix original movie, ‘The Gray Man’ which is expected to be the ‘Biggest-budget feature film‘ in the streaming service’s history.
Page will join ‘The Gray Man’ with Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling and, Ana De Armas. The movie will also cast Wagner Moura, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush and Julia Butters. The project was announced by Netflix last year on December 12, 2020.

The thriller spy film is based on the debut novel by Mark Greaney, published in 2009 by Jove Books. The movie will be directed by the Russo Brothers (Joe Russo and Anthony Russo), who are best known for directing four films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
According to the reports, the production of the film will start in Los Angeles this March. The movie will be about a “freelance assassin and former CIA operative Court Gentry(Gosling) as he is haunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans) a former cohort of Gentry’s at the CIA. The film is based on the first instalment of the book series.
The Gray Man is set to be the Netflix’s most expensive film production to date with a budget of $200 million. The Russo Brothers have penned the screenplay along with the screenwriters of the Avengers: Endgame, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, polishing the final draft. The film is expected to release next year.
Cast of ‘The Gray Man’
The film will star Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and the Tamil star, Dhanush, with the other stars including Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard, Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, and Julia Butters. The will will mark the reunion of Gosling with Armas, who have worked together in ‘Blade Runner 2049’, whixh was released in 2017. We will also see the reunion of Armas with Evans, her co-star from Rian Johnson’s 2019 whodunnit ‘Knives Out’.
Netflix confirmed today the joining of Regé-Jean Page on their social media handles. The British-Zimbabwean actor gained fame after his role in the Netflix series Bridgerton, released in 2020. The 31-year-old actor played Simon Basset in the series which earned him a SAG and an NAACP Image Award noms for his individual performance. Besides The Gray Man, Page has also signed on to star in the Paramount’s untitled Dungeons & Dragons.
Apart from The Gray Man, the Russo Brothers are all set to release their upcoming film Cherry starring Tom Holland. The film will release on March 12 this year for Apple TV+. The film has already released theatrically in US on February 26.
