BTS, All that you've missed: BTS at Grammy MusiCares Event, 22 Million Viewer Record, Jungkook's version of 'Dis-Ease'

Within a week, BTS broke the record for highest number of music show wins with Dynamite, highest real-time viewers for VLIVE with 22+ Million viewers, got a never-heard-before dis-ease bridge version by Jungkook on weverse, and we got an annoucement about BTS performing at the Grammy Musicares Event and getting a special talk show on KBC! whew, this doesnt even include the daily news and records they break.

BTS to perform at Grammy MusiCares Event

BTS aka Bangtan Sonyeondan is the most popular Korean band in the world right now. They are the first Korean band to have earned a Grammy nomination and now, BTS has been listed as one of the bands to perform in the Grammy event called MusiCares. BTS has previously expressed and gushed about how much Grammy’s mean to them, often talking about how they wish to win a Grammy for their music. Although BTS is in the lead with album sales, influence and fandom power, fans are worried about them getting snubbed at the Grammy awards.

BTS singer Jungkook hosted a VLive on Sunday. During the chat, he revealed his new hair colour, thanked the ARMY, listened to songs and gave everyone a good look at his arm tattoos. Jungkook stayed on Vlive for abit more than an hour, and talked about everything from his new hair color to how he is aware that fans buy the items he wears, eats or drinks in photos and videos. This has led to several fans unknowingly supporting small businesses and he was thankful for it. “Jungkook said ARMYs always buy what Jungkook wearing and drinking like ‘Kombucha’ and made them sold out. He thinks this is helpful for small business owners (who sell these products) in this pandemic situation,” as translated by a fan.

BTS Jungkook released his version of Dis-Ease Bridge

The BTS singer took the fandom by surprise when he dropped an audio clip on Weverse. The singer released a short clip of an alternative bridge recorded for the septet’s song Dis-ease, which was released as part of their album BE. The singer shared the clip and wrote, “The bridge I wrote for Dis-ease that suddenly came to my mind… hehe.” Speaking about it, the singer said that he thought fans would like it so he released it before sleeping.

The singer then went on to reveal that he slept only for an hour, which left fans wondering what he and other BTS members were up to. With alot of hints coming up about the next album, armys suspect that we will get updates in the next two months and perhaps even a completely different concept.

Jungkook added a musical touch to chat musical by streaming a number of songs through the live. The singer sang along J-Hope’s recently released song Blue Side, Jin’s December release Abyss, Moon, from BTS’s Map of the Soul: 7 album, Blue & Gray from their latest album BE, and Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber’s 10000 Hours, among many other songs.

Although it could be a mere coincidence, the ARMY is already theorising that something is cooking at the BTS camp. Fans are asking “Where is BTS” following the two posts. Some fans believe that BTS could be in Los Angeles. Given that the Grammys 2021 is scheduled to take place on March 15, a few fans have pointed out the possibility of BTS attending the event and performing their Grammy-nominated song Dynamite as well.
