BTS’ Permission To Dance breaks another record

After keeping hold of the No. 1 spot for seven consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts with ‘Butter’, BTS replaced it with ‘Permission to Dance’.
With the dominant rule of ‘Dance Permission’ on Hot 100 charts and ‘Butter’ now occupying 1st place on Songs of the Summer chart, according to Billboard, his ‘double placement’ is rarely achieved.

However, as it turns out, nothing is impossible for world-famous celebrities. Surprisingly, no artist has held the # 1 spot in Hot 100 and Songs of the Summer charts simultaneously for more than 11 years. The last star to achieve this was Katy Perry, back in 2010. According to reports, Katy Perry’s 2010 song ‘California Gurls’ was crowned Song of the Summer songs when her track ‘Teenage Dream’ took the hot chart of Hot 100.
