World Dominating Kpop Artist BTS has collaborated with fast food giant McDonalds for a BTS meal. The septet has collaborated with many brands over the years and this time they came up with a product that is literally loved all over the globe. The BTS Meal is a blend of global favorites and some of the boys’ favorite South Korean spices and flavors. For their project with BTS, McDonalds have changed their outlet color to purple, just like the color of the meal they came up with.The countries who are able to access this meal through the outlets are paying for the meal, even cherishing the purple packaging but the sauces are being sold on Ebay for two times the price in areas that are unable to access the meal.
BTS MEAL IN INDIA
In India the BTS meal was released on 1st June in the North and East Of India and on 4th June in South and West India. “This band is truly a global phenomenon, with a fan base that knows no borders, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the BTS Meal to our customers in India,” said Rajeev Ranjan, chief operating officer, McDonald’s India.
Fans were eagerly waiting for getting their hands on the BTS meal and can now do so by ordering through the McDonalds app or any other third party food delivery app like Swiggy or Zomato.
Along with the meal that includes 10 piece chicken nuggets, medium fries, a beverage of choice, sweet chili sauce and cajun sauce, fans were also blessed with limited edition merch for the collaboration which can be checked out on HYBE Label’s WeVerse app. The merch includes hoodies, socks, bathrobes and sandals all in the group’s signature color- purple.
