Kpop sensation BTS have made history, AGAIN. The septet took home all four awards they were nominated for including Top Social Artist. The other awards were Top Duo/Group, Top Selling Song (Dynamite) and Top Song Sales Artist. Congratulations to BTS. Read on to know more.
BTS at the Billboard Music Awards 2021
The kpop boyband BTS bagged four awards during the Billboard music awards which was aired live from the Microsoft theatre in Los Angeles. Other artists gave performances on the venue but the Korean septet performed remotely from Seoul, South Korea. Other Artists who were nominated for Top Social artists include Ariana Grande, Blackpink, Seventeen and SB19. They also beat CardiB, Beyonce, The Weeknd and Charlie Puth. BTS gave a phenomenal performance of their latest single “Butter” which made history by being the biggest debut ever on youtube.

In an award acceptance video RM, the leader of BTS said “Thankyou Billboard music awards for the Top Selling Award. which is amazing and huge. It is really an honor to be awarded with such a significant title. We want to share some fresh energy with everyone with Dynamite.”
“Love you, thank you and bless you”. He ended the acceptance speech with Suga, Jin and Jungkook tuning in to thank their fans collectively called ARMYS.

BTS’ “Butter” has now broken major records by surpassing 10 million views in 13 minutes
BTS recently made a big comeback with the single “Butter” which surpassed 10 million views in just 13 minutes, making it the biggest music video debut in the history of Youtube.
Prior to “Butter” the South Korean Boyband broke a whole lot of records with the single “Dynamite” which now stands strong at one billion views on the music video.

BTS released their 8th studio album BE in 2020 after just after their single ‘Dynamite’. With the help of the optimistic lyrics and music of ‘Life Goes On’, this album was one of the best thing BTS Army could get in the pandemic hit world.
For Dynamite, BTS received its first Grammy nomination in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. The band lost out on the Grammy but their virtual performance at the ceremony was highly praised by fans and other artists.
