Kpop sensation BTS joined OUTLOOK INIDA for an email interview yesterday. The septet that has amassed a huge following from India. In the interview, BTS said “Let”s never lose hope”, regarding the COVID-19 Situation prevailing in India. This is the heartfelt message the Kpop septet BTS conveyed to their fans, collectively known as ARMY, in India as the nation deals with the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
Bts has not made a tour to India yet but their fans from India pitched in the highest number of streams for their latest single “Butter” which has broken a huge number of records, including the biggest debut in the history of Youtube.
Vocalist V also known as Kim Taehyung told PTI in an email interaction, “Our prayers are with India. Stay strong ARMY and let’s never lose hope.”
The groovy and retro disco-pop summer track garnered 10 million views on YouTube in just 13 minutes of its release on Friday, besting their previous single Dynamite on the basis of public views counter-mark. They broke record previously held by BTS themselves.
“We wanted a summer song that we can enjoy together with ARMY and everyone. And ”Butter” was the perfect fit,” Jimin said.
“It”s a song brimming with the charms of BTS, so I hope everyone enjoys it!” V, 25, added.
The group delivered a spectacular performance on the Billboard music awards where they tuned in from Seoul, South Korea. They won all four awards they were nominated for.
It is an honour to perform “Butter” at the BBMAs, said Suga.
“One of the most memorable moments last year was when we got our first number one song on the Billboard”s Hot 100 chart. So it”s an honour to perform ”Butter” for the first time at the awards show that bears such a special meaning for us,” the 28-year-old rapper added.
“As we always do, we prepared a spectacular performance for this year’s BBMAs too. So I hope our fans like it,” The 23-year-old maknae of the group Jungkook said.
“One thing we can promise for sure are amazing and unforgettable performances, so be on the lookout,” the 27-year-old said. Jin, vocalist, said like ARMY, he too was looking forward to more surprises in the future.
“I honestly think possibilities are endless because all these things are not something that we did alone, but we did together with our ARMY,” he added.
“We want to connect with everyone around the world with great music and stages, and keep going as a group,” he concluded.
