Kim Sejeong is omnipresent nowadays. She’s the face of countless endorsements, a regular on famous variety shows, and a star of Korean dramas (she’s in Business Proposal)! Kim Sejeong: A member of I.O.I and Gugudan

Sejeong’s singing career was launched when she won Produce 101. I.O.I. made its debut with the album Chrysalis in May 2016. Unfortunately, the group had a brief existence and disintegrated in early 2017. They did, however, arrange a reunion in 2021, which Sejeong attended.

The singer later rejoined Gugudan, her Jellyfish Entertainment K-pop female group. The group’s debut album, Act. 1 The Little Mermaid, was followed by Acts. 2 Narcissus and 3 Chococo Factory, both of which featured a whimsical theme. Before disbanding in 2020, they reached economic success and even had their own television program, web show, and tours.

As if her schedule wasn’t already jam-packed, Sejeong has her own YouTube channel where she produces daily vlogs. The majority of her films are collections of clips that show you behind the scenes of her professional activities. It’s always thrilling to see Sejeong get dressed for award presentations or what occurs on set in photoshoots since her cheery attitude shines through in everything.

Kim Sejeong garnered more international recognition with “The Uncanny Counter”

This singer-MC can also act, making her a true multi-hyphenate. Sejeong debuted in the area in 2017, and her breakthrough came in 2020 with The Uncanny Counter, a webtoon-based drama. It was a mystery-fantasy series in which Sejeong portrayed one of the main characters, Do Hana. It went on to become a huge success, becoming one of the most popular shows on the OCN channel. The K-Drama was also published globally via Netflix, where it spent weeks on the Top 10 list.
