The first episode instilled a massive amount of suspense and thrill among viewers, leaving them wanting more of the Seo In Guk starrer series. A Korean mystery-drama called Cafe Minamdang is produced by Ko Jae-Hyun and authored by Park Hye-jin. It is based on Minamdang: Sagun Soochub by Jung Jae. The series’ creators are Park Hye-jin, Ko Jae-Hyun, and Yun Ra-young. It will debut on KBS2 and Netflix.

The upcoming K-Drama, which is based on the online book Minamdang: Case Note, follows Nam Han-jun (Seo In-guk), a former criminal profiler, as he transforms into a conman posing as a shaman following a series of weird events.


Nam Han-jun is invited to attend a job interview for the post of hotel general manager. He observes from a distance and communicates with the hotel CEO using an earphone. He meticulously evaluates each applicant before informing the CEO of their suitability.

He enters the interview room and starts performing a ritual before disclosing that Ko Ju-won, the employee sitting next to the CEO, was responsible for the recent suicide of a secretary because he had harassed her sexually.

Han-jun resides with his brother Su-cheol and sister Nam Hye-jun, a former Nationa l Intelligence Service agent. He runs his business out of Cafe Minamdang, which is located beneath their home. The plot of the show is not exactly new or unique but the delivery is absolutely spectacular.

When and where to watch the Cafe Minamdang Episode 2 with English subtitles

Cafe Minamdang can be streamed on Netflix with English subtitles. From June 27 through August 23, 2022, the show’s 18 episodes will run on Mondays and Tuesdays. It will air on KBS2 Mondays and Tuesdays at 9.30 p.m. and be around 60 minutes long, as is customary for Korean dramas.
