Ever since the first trailer of Demon Slayer S3 dropped, fans have been on their feet to find out when the show will release its third season. The word of the release of Demon Slayer 3 is quickly spreading and is already trending on social media sites. After so many years on the air, the series has developed a sizable global fan base.

DEMON SLAYER: ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT ARC
Following the release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train and the completion of the anime’s second season, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, the series’ popularity shows no sign of waning; a third season is already in the works.
The last instalment of the anime focused on Tanjiro’s quest in the Entertainment district, under the guidance of the sound Hashira Tengen Uzui. The show concluded with a cliffhanger, leaving fans on the edge of their seats to find out what happens next. This particular season broke records all over the world with one of the best animations ever seen in the history of Anime.
WHEN WILL DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA SEASON 3 COME OUT?
There is no official release date for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc yet, but an optimistic estimate would place the third season sometime around fall 2023. Crunchyroll and Ufotable published the first trailer for the anime in April 2022.
While most of the video is a rehash of the show’s prior arcs, replete with old footage, it does include a few views of Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, and Tanjiro brandishing what seems to be a reforged Nichirin sword.
Demon Slayer S3 story: What arc is it adapting?
The Swordsmith Village Arc is officially the third season of the anime. Don’t worry, we won’t go into too much detail about the source material, but we believe it will cover chapters 100-127 of the manga. Entertainment District Arc spanned the same range from 70 to 99, therefore this season is likely to comprise 12 episodes, give or take a few.
Unless there are severe deviations, Tanjiro should go to Swordsmith Village to receive a new weapon. As it happens, the community is home to an old weapon. But the scenario involving the Love and Mist Hashiras, as well as a demon or two, isn’t quite that simple.
