Doja Cat’s new music video: In 2021 alone, Doja Cat has logged collabs with Ariana Grande, Megan Thee Stallion, and Saweetie — and she’s showing no signs of letting up.
The first single from Doja Cat’s third album ‘Planet Her’ is out now
The pop performer has linked up with SZA for her latest song, “Kiss Me More,” ahead of her upcoming new album Planet Her. The two first teased the song in a March interview for V magazine, with SZA saying,
“I know our little ditty ‘Kiss Me More’ is a different strut and I’m just excited.”
It’s a silky, playful R&B jam sure to leave you with Doja shouting “All on my tongue up on it!” stuck in your head for a week minimum. The song also marks yet another offering from SZA in recent months, who has been teasing her own long-awaited followup to 2017’s Ctrl. At least we’ll surely have another TikTok dance to learn soon to keep us busy while waiting for these albums. Get to kissing and stretching.

Doja Cat first teased a SZA feature for her next project back in January. Now, she’s finally shared that collaboration. Find the Warren Fu-directed video for “Kiss Me More” below. The song is set to appear on Doja Cat’s forthcoming album, Planet Her (which is the setting for the new album). Her LP is set for a summer 2021 release via Kemosabe/RCA.
Doja Cat’s most recent LP Hot Pink, which included her hit “Say So,” was released in 2019. She performed that track at the 2021 Grammy Awards earlier this year. So far in 2021, she’s also appeared on an Ariana Grande remix (alongside Megan Thee Stallion) and released a collaboration with Saweetie called “Best Friend.” SZA’s most recent music video, for “Good Days,” was released in March.

About the music video of “Kiss me more”
Kiss Me More’ is Doja Cat’s first new song as a lead artist in over a year, following the release of ‘Boss Bitch’ in January 2020. The video, which was directed by Warren Fu, follows an astronaut who explores a pink-hued planet, eventually encountering the massive, glamorous aliens Doja and SZA. Later on, he plucks and eats a fruit from a tree, which transports him to a sensual fantasy.
Doja had announced the single on social media on Thursday (April 8), sharing the cover art, designed by Chad Knight.
‘Planet Her’ will be Doja Cat’s first album since she released her breakthrough record ‘Hot Pink’ in late 2019.
