Elliot Page came out as Trans in December
Formerly known as Ellen Page, came out publicly with a post about his identity and introduced himself as Elliot Page on December 1, 2020. Elliot Page got an enormous amount of love and support from fans, Hollywood, and several organizations. He’s also considered to be the flagbearer of Hollywood’s LGBTQ community since he came out as a lesbian in 2014.
Emma Portner seemed to be the biggest support to Elliot. She said she’s so proud of him for coming out as transgender. She shared her message on Instagram and captioned it with “I am so proud of @elliotpage. Trans, queer and non-binary people are a gift to this world. I also ask for patience & privacy but that you join me in the fervent support of trans life every single day. Elliot’s existence is a gift in and of itself. Shine on sweetie. Love you so much.”
