The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for kpop idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from January 20 to February 20.
BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 12,665,136 for February. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “fandom,” “DNA,” and “ARMY,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “release,” and “donate.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 84.77 percent positive reactions.
BLACKPINK maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 9,603,520, while NCT rose to third place in the rankings with a total index of 5,878,851 for February.
