Gal Gadot, who portrayed Wonder Woman in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice(2016) said in her recent Instagram post that she was on the verge of giving up acting before Wonder Woman came up.
Miss Israel crowned Gal Gadot recently took to her Instagram and shared a nostalgic monochromatic picture of herself taken during the time she was beholding on to quitting acting. But, what altered her decision was her cast as the Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe.

This monochromatic picture of Gal Gadot was taken by Zack Snyder on the day she did the camera test for Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. This picture first appeared in a profile published by Vanity Fair on Monday. Gadot’s performance as the superhero, which was the character’s first appearance in the film, was singled out as one of the best parts of the film.
She wrote a beautiful caption which read, “This photo was taken by Zack Snyder on the day I did the camera test for Batman vs Superman with Ben. I came to LA for 30 hours while shooting a movie in Tel Aviv. But I wanted the role of Wonder Woman so much that it was worth the trip.
I’ll forever be grateful to Zack for casting me and believing that I could bring Diana to life. I had no idea what the future would hold back when this picture was taken – seeing it makes me very nostalgic. It’s also proof that everything happens for a reason. I was on the verge of giving up acting… and then this happened. ✨”
The actor, singer, and model have almost 50 Million followers on Instagram and this post of her was liked by more than 2 million people, and the comment section flooded with the appreciation of how well she played Wonder Woman.

The actor was last seen in the superhero adventure “Wonder Woman 1984” by Diana Prince in her fourth outing as the character in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). She received a lot of appreciation and appraisal for her role and has confirmed to return in a third Wonder Woman film, for a historical drama based on the life of Egyptian queen Cleopatra, with the director Patty Jenkins. The duo will collaborate on a Cleopatra biopic and she also said she is ‘very excited’ about it.
