Chrissy Teigen replaced by Gigi Hadid
After past posts of her allegedly publicly bullying people resurfaced online. Fans were left in complete shock last month when Chrissy Teigen was exposed for harassing reality TV star Courtney Stodden online back in 2011, and at one point, even urging them to take their own life on multiple accounts. Chrissy has since isued many public apologies to her fans, and most importantly, to Courtney, however, she is currently in the midst of feeling the weight of ‘cancel culture’ and the effects her actions had on others.
I got yor back, Pax!! Gigi Hadid
Shortly after the scandal broke the internet, it was confirmed that Chrissy had voluntarily decided to scrap her surprise guest appearance on Mindy Kaling’s Netflix series Never Have I Ever, just weeks before the show’s second season was set to air. Chrissy had already taped her guest speaking role, in which she was set to narrate internal monologues and thoughts of heartthrob Paxton Hall-Yoshida played by Darren Barnet, but a spokesperson for Chrissy told Vulture that she has “decided to step away from the guest role”, and her part “is expected to be recast’.
Netlix had been staying on who would be taking over, until now….
Fast forward a month later, and Gigi Hadid has officially stepped in to fill the role of Paxton’s narrator, giving her fans a sneak peek of her narrating debut on Instagram. “This is Paxton Hall-Yoshida. He’s a 16 year old boy from Sherman Oaks, California. And I’m a model, designer, activist and a former 16 year old old from California, Gigi Hadid.” She says this in the opeining dailogue

In which episode Gigi Hadid will appear??
The narration is echoed after Andy Samberg voiced the mind of fellow student and love triangle member Ben Gross in season one. Gigi reveals in episode three of season 2 that she can relate to Paxton as an attractive person who is “constantly underestimated,” saying quote, “Believe it or not, I relate to this kid”. We’re both both constantly underestimated because people only see us as sex symbols.
When scientists declare your face tobe perfectly symmetrical, that’s all everyone thinks you have to offer the world. But we’ve got brains and feelings… Anyway we have so much more going on inside. Atleast that’s true with me. Let’s see what happens with Paxton.
Fans baffled by Gigi Hadid’s episode as Paxton’s narrator
Many fans were thrilled to be hearing Gigi’s voice during season 2’s premiere, which is now available to stream on Netflix, especially after it was confirmed that Chrissy’s appearance would be replaced. Since last month, Chrissy has remained under the radar and taken time away from the spotlight, but in a new instagram post shared on wednesday, she admitted to feeling depressed and is struggling with laying low.
Chrissy Teigen long caption about feeling “Lost” after being “Cancelled”
She posted a photo to her page lounging on the couch and got real with fans, writing, “Iiiii don’t really know what to say here…just feels so weird to pretend nothing happened in this online world but feel like utter shit in real life. Going outside sucks and doesn’t feel right, being at home alone with my mind makes my depressed head race. But I do know that however I’m handling this now isn’t the right answer. I feel lost and need to find my place again,I need to snap out of this, I desperately wanna communicate with you guys instead of pretending everything is okay. I’m not used to any other way!! Cancel club is a fascinating thing and I have learned a whollllle lot. Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know til you’re in it. And it’s hard to talk about it in that sense because obviously you sound whiney when you’ve clearly done something wrong. It just sucks. There is no winning. But there never is here anyhow. All I know is I love you guys, I miss you guys, and I just needed an honest moment with you because I’m just…tired of being sick with myself all day. I don’t even know if it’s good to say any of this because it’s gonna get brutally picked apart but I dunno. I can’t do this silent shit anymore! If you or someone you know has also been cancelled please let me know if there is a cancel club reunion because I could use some time off my couch! Thank u and goodbye I love u” .

Teigen said of her past bullying behaviour, “I was an insecure attention seeking trol, I’m ashamed and completely emabarassed at my behaviour.” Gigi Hadid has since replaced her voiceover role in Season 2 of the hit Netflix series ‘Never Have I Ever’. Cut to shot of the chiseled – shirtless Paxton dribbling water down his perfectly shaped chest and abs as he drinks from a bottle. “Paxton, dude, put a shirt on! I’m trying to make a point here!” says Hadid.
Except for Teigen’s mention of her asain ethnicity, another commonality between her and Paxton, the voiceover remains exactly the same. The episode, partly focuses on Paxton’s new interest in his Japanese heritage, a storyline that continues in a later episode.
