horimiya to get a special chapter

Horimiya by Daisuke Hagiwara will now be having a special one shot chapter for the epilogue in the Manga. The epilogue will be in the July issue of the magazine Monthly G Fantasy by Square Enix and will be out on July 16. The last volume, the manga’s sixteenth volume will also be shipped on July 16 2021.

HORIMIYA TO GET AN EPILOGUE

The epilogue will be continuing from the moment when Hori and Miyamura graduate. A publishing house called “Yen Press” translates the manga from Japanese and publishes it in English. The English translation describes the story as-

“At first glance, the ultra-popular Hori-san seems like a frivolous high school girl, but in reality, she’s plain, pragmatic, and family-oriented. On the other hand, the bespectacled Miyamura-kun comes across as an average, gloomy high school fanboy, but he’s actually an attractive young man who has a bad-boy streak and is covered in piercings and tattoos. When these two unexpectedly similar classmates have a random run-in outside of the classroom, a bubbly, sweet tale of school life begins!”

Since the ending of Horimiya left a very lukewarm and bittersweet taste for the viewers, Daishuke will now be coming back with an Epilogue chapter.

WHERE TO STREAM HORIMIYA?

Daisuke Hagiwara started publishing the Horimiya manga in 2011 in the Monthly G Fantasy magazine. Horimiya is a school romance comedy manga. The anime for Horimiya premiered in Japan on January 9 and is available to be streamed on Funimation. The English dubbed anime was released on February 5. Fans also got a live action film for Horimiya and were wishing for an OVA as well. When we talk about another season, it is highly unlikely but with the epilogue coming in, fans are also expecting OVAs to give them an insight about the rest of the characters in the anime.
