If Game of Thrones was made in Bollywood: Best of Bollywood and Game Of Thrones

If Game of Thrones was made in Bollywood: Best of Bollywood and Game Of Thrones

If the legendary TV show, Game of Thrones was to be remade in Bollywood, here’s the list of Bollywood actors that we think would fit the roles of the GoT cast perfectly.

*Spoilers ahead!*

Deepika Padukone as Daenerys Targaryen:

Deepika Padukone as Daenerys Targaryen:

Admit it, we all want to see Deepika Padukone as Danaerys Stormborn, the first of her name; both of them giving off vibes of a powerful, badass, and graceful woman, all at the same time. I can almost imagine Deepika yelling ‘Dracarys’ in the most powerful way and burning her enemies to the ground.

Tara Sutaria as Sansa Stark:

Tara Sutaria as Sansa Stark:

Sansa’s character in Game of Thrones perhaps had the most drastic changes throughout the seasons. From being a naive little girl, she grew to become a powerful leader; the Queen of the North. Even though we haven’t seen much of Tara Sutaria on the big screen, she looks like a perfect fit for Sansa’s character.

Shah Ruk Khan as Tyrion Lannister:

Shah Ruk Khan as Tyrion Lannister:

I don’t think anyone can play the role of Tyrion Lannister better than our King Khan. His acting range is wide, and it will definitely bring justice to Tyrion’s character if it were to be ever remade in Bollywood.

Sanya Malhotra as Arya Stark:

Sanya Malhotra as Arya Stark:

Sanya Malhotra will look great playing the role of Arya Stark. The independent young girl, Arya Stark with amazing fighting skills, that she develops throughout the seasons of Game of Thrones like Sanya has developed in Dangaal.

Tabu as Cersei Lannister:

Tabu as Cersei Lannister:

After watching Andhadhun, we can agree that Tabu can very well act in a villainous role. She is capable of portraying a clever and powerful woman who can turn things in her favor whenever she wants and plays a huge role throughout the show.

Aditya Roy Kapoor as Jon Snow:

Aditya Roy Kapoor as Jon Snow:

Aditya Roy Kapoor seems like a great choice to play the role of the bastard son of Ned Stark, who is doubted all throughout his life, but ultimately emerges as a powerful and strong man, and is made King of the North by his own people.

Sanjay Dutt as Sandor Clegane:

Sanjay Dutt as Sandor Clegane:

I think the similarities in this picture are enough to tell us that Sanjay Dutt is the perfect choice to play Sandor ‘The Hound’ Clegane. Sanjay Dutt’s previous movies have proved that he can play the role of the gruesome and dangerous man, ‘The Hound’, who is also likely to gain a soft spot for innocent girls, and treat them as his daughters.

Alia Bhatt as Ygritte:

Alia Bhatt as Ygritte:

Even though we have mostly seen Alia Bhatt in bubbly roles, her movies like Udta Punjab and Raazi made us aware of the range that her acting can reach, and hence it won’t be difficult to see her playing the role of Ygritte, who is a badass and dangerous woman, who also falls in love with Jon Snow.

Anushka Sharma as Margaery Tyrell:

Anushka Sharma as Margaery Tyrell:

The powerful, smart, and kind woman who only ever wanted to rule as a Queen, the one who is able to tame even Joffery Baratheon to some extinct with her charms, Margaery Tyrell can be played really well by Anushka Sharma, who has proven herself to be an amazing actress with her movies.

Saif Ali Khan as Ramsay Bolton:

Saif Ali Khan as Ramsay Bolton:

Ramsay Bolton, the bastard son of Roose Bolton, is absolutely gruesome and merciless, who takes special pleasure in torturing people. Even though we haven’t seen Saif Ali Khan in many villainous roles, I believe he can play this twisted characters well, on screen.

Aishwarya Ray Bachchan as Melissandre:

Aishwarya Ray Bachchan as Melissandre:

Aishwarya Ray has an absolutely hypnotizing and alluring appearance, much like Meliisandre, and is capable of portraying a witch with dark magic, who’s specialty is burning people as a sacrifice to the Lord of the Light.

Rana Daggubati as Khal Drogo:

Rana Daggubati as Khal Drogo:

Rana Daggubati’s role as Bhallaldeva in ‘Bahubhali’, is enough to tell us that he is a great choice to play the role of the Great and merciless Khal Drogo, who was also Daenerys’ first husband.

Amitabh Bachchan as Ned Stark:

Amitabh Bachchan as Ned Stark:

Eddard Stark, the honorable man of his principles who made a place in the hearts of all the viewers, and ultimately broke it as well at the end of season one, is a kind and powerful man. Who better can play his role better than our Big B?

Rohit Saraf as Bran Stark:

Rohit Saraf as Bran Stark:

Sweet, innocent, with his own powers, Bran can be played by Rohit Saraf, who is currently rising in the film industry and can play this role well.

Akshay Kumar as Jamie Lannister:

Akshay Kumar as Jamie Lannister:

Jamie Lannister is the character that makes you hate him at one point, love him at another. His character develops throughout the seasons in a great way, and Akshay Kumar, with his wide range of acting, can amazingly display Jamie’s character on screen.

Adarsh Gorav as Joffery Baratheon:

Adarsh Gorav as Joffery Baratheon:

The spoilt and rich son of the King of the Seven Kingdoms, who eventually gets the beloved Ned Stark killed, Joffery Baratheon has to be one of the most hated characters in Game of Thrones. Adarsh Gorav seems like he will be able to pull off this character.

Emraan Hashmi as Petyr Baelish:

Emraan Hashmi as Petyr Baelish:

Petyr Baelish, who is basically the reason of all the events happening in the Seven kingdoms, the cunning and over-ambitious man, who didn’t stop at anything to get closer to his goal; The Iron Throne. It’s clear to see Emraan Hashmi playing the same role.

Anupam Kher as Varys:

Anupam Kher as Varys:

Varys is a smart and wise man in the council of the King, who is aware of everything important happening in the Kingdom, courtesy to his ‘little birds’. Anupam Kher would do well in this role.
