Aidan Shaw is back! Yes, John Corbett just confirmed that he will appear in ‘Sex and the City’s’ reboot. HBO Max is currently shooting for ‘Sex and the City’ reboot in New York, where John Corbett revealed to Page six, that he will reprise his role of Carrie Bradshaw’s ex-fiancé, Aidan Shaw.

The new series will be ten episodes long, with original cast members Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis returning to reprise their respective roles of Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte. Yes, Samantha aka Kim Cattrall won’t be returning for the new series.

Sex and the City is an American Romantic comedy-drama television series created by Darren Star for HBO. It is an adaptation of Candace Bushnell’s 1997 book of the same name. SATC premiered in the United States on June 6, 1998.

And a sequel to first film, Sex and the City 2 also came in the year 2010, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall, and Noth, who reprised their roles again, as well as Handler, Eigenberg, Lewis, Cantone and Garson.
SATC also followed a prequel series called The Carrie Diaries, which starred AnnaSophia Robb as a young Carrie, and ran for two seasons on The CW.

Yay! Aidan Shaw is back in ‘Sex and the City’s’ reboot, confirmed by him in New York’s Page six. “I’m going to do the show”, Corbett said in an interview and that the news is “very exciting” for him. This is super exciting. HBO Max is currently shooting for ‘SATC’s’ reboot titled ‘And Just like that..’ and John will be reprising his role as Aidan Shaw in the upcoming new series.
Upon asked for how many episodes will he appear in the upcoming new show, he said, “I think I might be in quite a few.” He further added, “I like all those people, they’ve been very nice to me”. Corbett, 59, played hapless furniture designer Aidan, whom Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie not only cheated on with Mr. Big (Chris Noth), but subsequently dumped when he wanted to get married.
He also appeared in the movie sequel of SATC, running into his ex-love in Abu Dhabi, where the two shared a romantic meal and even a kiss.

The iconic TV show, that finished its initial run in 2004, is surprisingly coming back to television, that too with a different name, ‘And just like that., the teaser of which was shared by the stars of the show on their social media handles.
HBO Max is currently shooting for a perfect reboot in New York, and the series will be 10 episodes long with original cast members Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis returning to reprise their respective roles of Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte.
Someone’s missing right? Yes, Samantha aka Kim Cattrall, won’t be returning for the new series, nor will be the series creator Darren Star.
The official date for the premiering of ‘And just like that’ on Television is not finalised yet. Looks like, the fans of SATC have to wait until there is an official announcement for the premiering of the show.
