There have been many adaptations, the most popular one is a Chinese film which stars EXO’s Chanyeol in the lead role.

So I married an anti-fan Story

The romantic-comedy story is about a famous K-pop star Hoo Joon, played by Choi Tae Joon, and his anti-fan Lee Geun Young, played by Sooyoung who is a magazine reporter.

Lee Geun Yeung throws up on Hoo Joon at a dazzling night event. The next day she is fired from her job and she assumes Hoo Joon orchestrated her dismissal. She is angry and protests outside his agency’s office. The media covers this and terms Lee Geun Yeung as Hoo Joon’s number one anti-fan. What happens next is left to be seen on the premiere broadcast of the show on April 30th KST.  The drama also shows the complicated relationship between JJ, portrayed by 2PM’s Chansung and Oh In Hyun, portrayed by Han Ji An. They were close friends with Hoo Joon in his trainee days but have now drifted apart.

On April 4, a source from the entertainment industry reported, “Pre-produced drama ‘So I Married the Anti-Fan’ is slated to air via SBS around August or September,” and later that day, a source from SBS’s drama department stated, “[The reports] are groundless.”

Sooyoung in Run-on

Sooyoung was last seen playing the role of a CEO in the drama ‘Run on’ which practically smashed the ratings. Actors Im Si-wan and Shin Se-kyung share the screen for the first time in Run On, the latest show from The Ghost Detective director Lee Jae-hoon. Im plays Ki Seon-gyeom, a top sprinter on the national team who is admired by his colleagues for his speed and cool demeanour. Shin plays Oh Mi-joo, a passionate young film subtitle translator.

The GG member Sooyoung essayed the role of a sports agency CEO Seo Dan Ah, who faced multiple challenges for being a female in a male-dominated industry.

Throughout the show, the GG member Sooyoung has not only stolen the limelight with her confidence and poise but also her cool and charismatic style. The sophisticated with which the GG member portrays the character is unparalleled. Sooyoung redefined sophisticated elegance when she wore not one of two Dior pieces, but 3! The actress and singer wore her 30 Montaigne bar jacket, a black pleated skirt, and a medium lady D-lite bag with such grace that we were left taking style notes from the fashionista. The high-end ensemble was carried with the most ease and charm by the GG member.

The most unconventional look from the show was perhaps when the GG member paired her retro-looking metallic flair pants with bright red Nike x Undercover Daybreak sneakers. The actress wore a black blazer to finish off her look in the scene, but the red sneakers which were totally genius stole the show!  Another noteworthy look was when Sooyoung showed off her fit body and rocked a plunging swimsuit for a late-night dip in her personal pool. The black swimwear was every bit as elegant and powerful as the GG member’s character herself.
