Some of the Korean dramas originally scheduled to air in 2020 had their filming schedules interrupted to our dismay, but the good news is that we’ll finally get to watch these new Korean dramas in 2021. 2020 was undoubtedly a great year for K-dramas, from Crash Landing On You to Record Of Youth. 7) The Sea Of Tranquility

Sci-fi fans will rejoice for this drama. Set in the future when Earth is facing apocalyptic scarcity of food and water. Yoon Jae is a soldier for the space agency. He is selected for a team, including Ji An, to travel to the moon. Their mission is to retrieve a mysterious sample from an abandoned research station.

Building on the success of web-dramas like Love Playlist, KBS is preparing this new drama titled Dear M, hoping to capture a similar audience. Bringing together Park Hye-Soo and NCT’s Jaehyun, as well as other successful cast members, there’s no shortage of familiar faces. The drama will focus on students navigating their life in University after a mysterious message on the campus bulletin sends the school reeling.

4) Monthly House

“Monthly House” is a home-searching romance story about a man who buys houses and a woman who lives in one. It follows the diverse stories of the editors of a home magazine. Yoo Ja Sung is the CEO of a real estate investment company and magazine company Monthly House who went from rags to riches. By studying during the day, working as a restaurant part-timer and a designated driver at night, and working at construction sites during the weekends, Yoo Ja Sung cut down on his sleep time to self-study real estate, eventually becoming an investment expert and wealthy man owning property worth tens of billions of won (tens of millions of dollars) in real estate. However, when he runs into Na Young Won, the two will begin an unexpected romance.

The story of students attending a specialized high school and pursuing their own dreams rather than go off to college. 2) Monster

Meet the two fearless men willing to go to extreme lengths in their pursuit of a serial killer that has shaken up their quiet city: Lee Dong Sik, a once capable detective, is now demoted to perform menial tasks at the Manyang Police Substation. 1) Jiri Mountain

Set in Mount Jiri, the story of Cliffhanger is centered around a group of rangers and other employees of the Jirisan National Park on a mission to rescue lost trekkers and survivors. There is a mystery surrounding the unexplored regions of Mount Jiri and its many visitors, left for the rescue crew to unravel. Seo Yi Kang is the park’s top ranger who has vast experience in navigating Mount Jiri National Park, making her knowledgeable when it comes to tracking down lost individuals. She later becomes Kang Hyun Jo’s partner and confidante. Kang Hyun Jo is a rookie national park ranger and Seo Yi Kang’s partner. He is a military academy graduate, an ex-lieutenant who experienced a horrific incident on Mount Jiri which led him to become a ranger. Additionally, he has a deep secret.

Jung Goo Young is a practical ranger who has the belief in taking care of himself before others. A person who uses up all his vacation days and leaves work on the dot, leaving right before dismissal.

Jo Dae Jin is the head of the Haedong Branch Office in Mount Jiri National Park. He has been a ranger half of his life, hence the nickname “Mount Jiri Man”. He is a simple, honest man who is fully committed to his job and takes responsibility for his junior rangers.
