On April 23, Mouse’s popularity reached a new high, with the distributor tvN announcing a spin-off titled ‘Mouse: The Predator’. tvN took to its Instagram to announce this news with a new quite exciting looking poster. The story will follow the protagonist Jeong Ba Reum’s (Lee Seung Ki) story in the search of a psychopath murdered facing new sets of challenges. The spin-off is expected to go into more details about officer Ba Reum. The drama Mouse is currently ongoing with its last episode scheduled to air on May 21. Check out the poster below.

It is said that the drama was inspired by a real murder case in the country back in 2017. What causes a psychopath to think and behave like that, what changes a person, and does that happen over time or since birth.

The direction of the drama has been done under Choi Joon Bae and Kang Cheol Woo. The screenwriting of the drama has been done under Choi Ran. In the main lead roles, we have Lee Seung Gi as Jung Ba Reum. Lee Hee Joon as Ko Moo Chi. Park Joo Hyun as Oh Bong Yi and Kyung Soo Jin as Choi Hong Joo. Many other actors and actresses have also been cast in support roles and guest roles.
