South Korean boyband ASTRO are set to release their much-anticipated studio album next month. The teasers they revealed are just flawless!
2021 is turning out to be an incredible year so far with some of the biggest names in K-Pop announcing their comebacks and promoting for the same. In keeping with the comeback spirit, boy group ASTRO has announced their long-awaited full group comeback in April! After reports starting airing of the group’s comeback, Fantagio confirmed the news by saying that ASTRO was indeed preparing for a comeback in April.
On March 18, ASTRO released the first concept photo of their upcoming second full-length album, All Yours. They shared the new concept photo via their official Twitter. Earlier this month, On March 12, ASTRO unveiled a teaser that shares that their second full album is titled All Yours! It was a smart GIF shared by ASTRO’s agency, Fantagio.
“ALL YOURS”
They began by unveiling their comeback teaser schedule on March 17 KST. Following that schedule, ASTRO dropped their first group concept photo. In the concept photo, we can see the members dressed in black and white coloured outfits. They look handsome, as their black and white outfits against a velvety red background, accentuate their features more. ‘ASTRO 2nd Full Album. All Yours’ in written in red on the concept photo. Cha Eun Woo, who had previously bleached his hair ashen grey, is seen sporting jet black hair in the concept photo.
Based on a teaser posted Thursday on Twitter, the six-member K-pop group will be dropping their second full-length album “All Yours” on April 5.
Astro’s last comeback was in May of 2020 with ‘Knock’, following which, members Moonbin and Sanha debuted in their sub-unit with ‘Bad Idea‘, both of which proved to be incredible hits. Cha Eun Woo also appeared in the highly successful webtoon adaptation of ‘True Beauty‘ as Suho alongside Moon Ga Young’s Joo Kyung and Hwang In Yeop’s Seojun and is currently in talks to join Kim Nam Gil and Seo Ye Ji for the drama ‘Island’. It has thus been quite a busy year so far and ASTRO is ready to take it another step further with their comeback.
Astro, who debuted in 2016, is composed of Cha Eun Woo, Moon Bin, Jin-Jin, MJ, Rocky and Sanha. The K-pop group released their first full-length album “All Night” in 2019, and made their comeback with “Knock” in May last year. ASTRO debuted in 2016 with their single Hide & Seek from their debut Extended Play, Spring Up. They were subsequently named by Billboard as one of the best new K-pop groups of 2016.
ASTRO’s upcoming album will be the boyband’s first release as a full group since May 2020, when they dropped their ninth mini-album ‘Gateway’. The mini-album featured the title track ‘Knock’, which became the group’s highest-charting song on the Gaon Digital Chart. Over their five-year-long career, the group have released nine mini-albums and one full-length record, as well as a handful of singles.
