WHEN DID LEE MIN HO ENLIST IN MILITARY

Lee Min-ho’s international fame is very impressive as his previous K Dramas have attracted many fans following. Playing classics like Boys Over Flowers and The Heirs, Hallyu’s Min-ho brand is still developing in the ’30s. It was May 2017 when Min-ho enlisted in the army as a civil service officer and in April 2019, he was released. His first project after his compulsory military service was King: Eternal Monarch in which the 33-year-old’s royal acting role was highly praised.

LEE MIN HO COMEBACK

Lee Min Ho is set to appear in the much-anticipated Apple TV + K Drama called Pachinko. He left a post on his Instagram handle with a picture of Ko Hansu, his character in the series. This came as a pleasant surprise to his fans and viewers. The K drama is based on a novel with the same title and written by Min Jin Lee. Following the in-depth love story of young ‘Sunja’, the beloved daughter of a poor fisherman whose unplanned pregnancy with a wealthy stranger (played by Lee in the game) brings disgrace to the family.

Sunja learns the sad truth, decides to leave everything behind and marry a mild-tempered, sickly priest, and moves to Japan. All this and much more sets a wonderful saga that is heard from generation to generation.

WHY IS LEE MIN HO SO POPULAR?

Lee Min Ho rose to fame with his drama “BOYS OVER FLOWERS”. The actor brought the Hallyu wave around the world with his tall figure, stunning visuals, and absolutely perfect acting. He was last seen in King: The Eternal Monarch opposite to Kim Go Eun.
