After Rose and Jennie from Blackpink made their solo debut with the tracks “On the ground” and “Solo”, fans are guessing it’s time for Lisa, main dancer and rapper, to make her solo debut. Previously, YG entertainment, the management company that Blackpink is under, announced that Lisa will be making her solo debut somewhere in 2021.
Will Lisa Make Her Solo Debut This Year
In one of the recent episodes of Hangout with Yoo, famous South Korean comedian spilled the beans about the singer’s comeback being scheduled for July. Yoo was talking about some of the groups that will be making a comeback in the near future, he included Lisa’s debut as a solo artist in the lineup. Then the company stated that the debut will be set in June this year.
“On July 9, BTS will be making a comeback. And more so, in July, we have Taeyeon, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, SF9, and Lovelyz.“
YG entertainment has not made any official statement regarding her comeback as of now.
Rose’s Solo Track “On the ground” Sets Huge Record
Recently, Rose made her solo debut with a mini album with two tracks “On The Ground” and “gone”, both of these songs are sung in English. The title track “On the ground” made massive records just a few days after it’s release. On April 9, Guinness World Records revealed that the music video for Rosé’s “On The Ground” had been officially recognised as the most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist. The music video for “On the Ground” garnered 41.6 million views in the first 24 hours after it was released.
