Richard has been missing since March, 22, 2021(Monday) and there has been no reports about him since then. Richard’s mom, Evidence Joel told My London, that he has been shielding since March 2020 due to the sickle cell disease he suffers with and in the last year would only leave the house to go to hospital for regular blood transfusions.
She has been incredibly worried about her son and also said that the police haven’t been helpful. Kensigton and Chelsea Police also tweeted about the missing Richard. He was last seen walking in the area on Kensal Road at 8.40pm.

English singer and songwriter, also the Grammy’s 2021 winner Dua Lipa showed her concern for the missing 19-year-old boy named Richard Okorogheye, by sharing a story of him on her Instagram. She shared a post of Richard, which was shared by the Activist Misan Harriman on his Instagram feed. Along with the picture of Richard, she shared the details of the missing 19-year-old boy in her following Instagram story.
The details of the missing boy shared by Dua Lipa read, “19 year-old Richard Okorogheye has been missing since 8.40pm on Monday 22nd March after telling his mum he was going to visit a friend but none of his friends said they saw him that night. He was last seen walking on Kensal Road in the direction of Ladbroke Grove Sainsbury’s wearing a black long sleeve top, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.”
It further added, “He was also carrying a small Adidas bag and is 6ft tall with a slim build. Richard has been shielding for the past 12 months due to the sickle cell disease he suffers with and would normally only leave the house to go to hospital for regular blood transfusions. Richard’s mom claimed that the police haven’t been helpful in the case of her missing son. Joel also said that he has gone missing after telling her he was “struggling to cope” with the pressure of university and shielding during lockdown. She has been extremely worried about her lost son.

She fears Richard has become depressed as a result of his shielding and spends many hours a day locked in his room, and added that Richard recently told her he was “struggling to cope” with university where he studies Business and IT at Oxford Brookes, attending virtually.
“Richard has never done anything like this. Something has gone wrong,” Ms. Joel added.
