Mimi 2021 Movie Full Review IMDB (8.4/10): For a long time, Kriti Sanon’s movie ‘Mimi” was in the news. The film was supposed to be released on 30 July 2021 but it got leaked online on the morning of 26 July. After watching the trailer of Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi’s film ‘Mimi’, it was evident that the storyline of the movie was going to be predictable. The film deals with the theme of surrogacy, and it seems that even today, surrogacy films could not move ahead of Salman Khan ‘s film ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke’. In “Mimi”, an attempt has been made to show this theme in a slightly emotional way.

Mimi 2021 Movie Review
Mimi’s story does not even fall in the circle of ‘Log Kya Kahenge’ and moves forward in a steady manner. There is a twist in the script here. Even if there is no romance, action, thriller, the film does not let you get bored. The characters are well crafted. Kriti Sanon has come true in the role of Mimi. She has lived her characters before and after becoming a mother. She looks real in Rajasthani’s look.
Similarly, Pankaj Tripathi, who became a car driver who took tourists to Delhi-Rajasthan, has dominated here as usual. Even without romance drama, he remains in the center with his acting and smooth dialogue delivery. He makes a long role to persuade Mimi to go for surrogacy, saying that raising a child in the womb is the greatest thing in the world and that he should do it too if he just walks. But the question is, is it as easy as he says it is?
Pankaj Tripathi’s Acting at Par
If we talk about acting, then everyone has acted so well in the movie, it was top-notch. The praise of Pankaj Tripathi yet again nailed it with his performance. Pankaj has been seen overshadowing everyone due to his acting in the film. On the other hand, if we talk about Kriti in the film, the actress has acted very well. Kriti has played an excellent role in a mother’s pain and for a troubled young girl who is caught up in the mess created by others. All the other stars have also acted very well.
The timing of the Pankaj Tripathi dialogue is as great as ever. This is his third movie with Kriti Sanon. Previously, both appeared in “Bareilly Ki Barfi” and “Luka Chuppi”, so both seem to be compatible. Manoj Pawa, Supriya Pathak, and Sai Tamhanker have shown justice to their character.
Should you watch it?
The storyline of the movie was very good. There is no doubt that the movie started very well and the story gets on track immediately. Some comic scenes of Pankaj Tripathi are well performed. Kriti Sanon is good at the character of Mimi and some scenes from Kriti were full of life.
However, the script is so sluggishly written that a point will come when the story goes slow, but as soon as it goes slow you will see the movie coming back on track in no time. No doubt the movie was too long and but it was full of adventure, laughter, emotions, and the love of a mother for her children. This movie can fall in the one-time-watch category, and you can surely give it a try.
