Actor Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Munmun Dutta, who plays the role of Babita, reacted to rumors of dating. Munmun Dutta, who plays Babita Krishnan Iyer on Sunday, reacted to rumors of dating co-star Raj Anadkat. Raj features the role of Tapu, son of Jethalal Gada, in one of the world’s longest-running television shows.
For those unfamiliar, it was recently reported that Munmun Dutta had an affair with Raj who is nine years her junior. The report also sparked a Twitter meme fete, and Internet users began attacking the actress.

However, rubbing the news, Munmun Dutta made a lengthy statement to both the media and the public.
“Who has given u the right to post ‘IMAGINARY’ MADE UP’ articles in people’s names about their private life without their consent? R u liable to the damage that you cause to their lives with your reckless behavior? You don’t stop at shoving your cameras on the face of a grieving woman who has just lost her love or lost her son, in a funeral, just for your trps”. You can stoop to any level to create sensational articles/headlines at the cost of someone’s dignity, but R U GOING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WRECKING HAVOC IN THEIR LIVES ?? If No then, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF,” she wrote.
“To the general public, I had far better expectations from you. But the FILTH that you have showered in the comment section, even from the so called ‘LITERATE’ ones proves how regressive a society we are.”
She added, “Women are constantly AGE SHAMED, SLUT SHAMED, MOM SHAMED at the cost of YOUR humor. Whether YOUR humor drives someone to the edge of a mental breakdown or not, is NEVER your concern. 13 years of entertaining people and it didn’t take 13 minutes for anyone of you to RIP MY DIGNITY APART. So next time someone is clinically depressed or driven to take their own lives, pause and think whether it was YOUR WORDS that drove that person to the edge or not.
Ashamed of calling herself the daughter of India, Actress said
“Today, I am ashamed of calling myself a DAUGHTER OF INDIA,” the actress concluded.
Later, she deleted the post saying, “Moving on!! To positive things. Live, let Live.. Love, peace, and health to everyone. Jai Shree Ram, Ganpati Bappa Morya. Jai Mata Di.”

Raj Anadkat responds to Munmun Dutt dating rumors, has a message for “all creative people”
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Raj Anadkat reacted to rumors of dating co-star Munmun Dutta. Raj took to Instagram shortly after Munmun shared his reaction post to respond to the rumors.
In his message, Raj called these stories, ‘cooked up’. “To everyone, who has been constantly writing about me, THINK of the repercussions that can happen in my life because of your ‘COOKED UP’ (false) stories and that too about my life without my consent. All the creative people out there please channelize your creativity somewhere else it will be helpful to you. May God bless them with good sense,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, from the very beginning of the show, Munmun Dutta plays an integral role. Her character is that of a Bengali woman married to a man from South India. On the other hand, Raj replaced Bhavya Gandhi as Tapu (son of Jethalal Gada) in 2017 after the latter left the show.
