NCT 127 ACHIEVES 4th HIGHEST SALES IN HANTEO HISTORY
Last week, NCT 127 made their long-awaited return on September 17 with their third studio album “Sticker” and its title of the same name. According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold a total of 760,902 copies on its first day alone, making NCT 127 the artist with the first three-day sales on the first day in Hanteo history.
On September 24, Hanteo Chart announced that “Sticker” had sold 929,516 copies in the first week of its release (September 17 to 23) – for more than three times the previous NCT 127 sales record of 276,628 set by their album -2020 “Neo’s place.” With this recent success, the band became the artist with the highest weekly sales in Hanteo history — following BTS, SEVENTEEN, and NCT DREAM only.
“Sticker” also won the highest 10-week sales of any album in Hanteo’s history, ranking only behind albums by BTS, SEVENTEEN, and NCT DREAM.
NCT 127 To Host Episode Of “SNL Korea” Reboot
On September 23, a source from “SNL Korea” said, “NCT 127 is confirmed to star as the first photographer of the season.”
Recently, the boy band removed local and international music charts with their third studio album “Sticker” and the title of the same name. In addition to exceeding 1 million previous orders, they became the artist with the highest first-day sales in Hanteo history. After receiving love from all over the world, the group will show off their comedy side with “SNL Korea.” The band is expected to attract viewers with its refreshing power as the first photographer and the youngest director of the restart era.
The Korean version of “Saturday Night Live” was aired for nine seasons on tvN from 2011 to 2017. Jung Sang-Hoon, Kim Min Kyo, Cha Chung Hwa, and Wendy of Red Velvet. Earlier, the show received the attention of top stars as Jo Jung Suk, Lee Byung Hun, Ha Ji Won, and Jessi joined the show’s presenter program.
