NCT 127 To Appear On “The Daily Show” Daytime Special: Trevor Noah’s Comedy Central Series

NCT 127 is taking part in a “The Daily Show” special! The NCT sub unit will teach importance of subtitles on ‘The Daily Show’ special episode.

On March 9, it was reported by several outlets including Deadline that the Comedy Central series plans to air host Trevor Noah’s first daytime special, titled “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah Presents: Remotely Educational.”

The special features Trevor Noah and the team teaching remote-learning classes that give students knowledge that they really need in life, rather than subjects like calculus and grammar. The lineup includes correspondents Ronny Chieng, Michael Kosta, Desi Lydic, Dulcé Sloan, and Roy Wood Jr., as well as contributors Jordan Klepper and Lewis Black.

NCT 127 will appear as substitute teachers to give an extra-credit lesson! NCT 127 is a sub-unit of SM Entertainment’s boy group NCT, and they have previously made appearances on many U.S. television shows including “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” “Good Morning America,” “The Today Show,” and more. They also performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2019.

Titled The Daily Show With Trevor Noah Presents: Remotely Educational, the show’s first-ever daytime special will offer viewers useful lessons on everyday topics such as money management to real-life usages of math. The boyband will be teaching a “special lesson” about the importance of learning how to read subtitles.

“In order to better understand and communicate with us, NCT 127, it’s very important to know how to read,” NCT 127 said in the teaser video, while pointing down at yellow subtitles. “Yes, it’s very important so make sure you read a lot, and keep studying! And if you do so, you’ll be able to better understand us through these subtitles.”
