This Is The End: Years after the release of Seth Rogan’s directed movie, ‘This Is The End’, he has finally confirmed the rumors that actress Emma Watson did storm out of the sets of the movie after refusing to be a part of a, particularly rude scene. The scene that Emma refused to shoot involved Danny McBride turning to cannibalism while holding Channing Tatum – who was wearing a leather mask – on a leash.
According to a Tumblr profile that belonged to an extra that had worked on set, Emma refused to film the uncomfortable scene.
Seth says he holds “no hard feelings” for Emma Watson
The film marked the directorial debut for Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who co-wrote the Superbad and Pineapple Express. The Watson incident is true, Rogen said, but there’s no hard feelings.
“I mean, I don’t look back on that and think, ‘How dare she do that?’ You know? I think sometimes when you read something, when it comes to life it doesn’t seem to be what you thought it was,” Rogan said, in an interview for British GQ’s May issue.
“But it was not some terrible ending to our relationship. She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film. No hard feelings and I couldn’t be happier with how the film turned out in the end.”, he continued.
“Oh, and Watson had a point”, he added, “and the scene was changed thanks to her objections.”
“She was probably right. It was probably funnier the way we ended up doing it.”
This Is The End
‘This Is The End’ came out in 2013, and is an apocalyptic comedy film that was about six Los Angeles celebrities who get stuck in James Franco’s house after the apocalypse and featured Danny McBride as the cannibal and Channing Tatum as the leashed gimp in a leather mask.
