SBS’ new romance drama “Now We Are Breaking Up” premiered by sharing a look at Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong from the past! “Now We Are Breaking Up” is a real love drama about love lives and the separation of people behind the fashion industry. Song Hye Kyo will play the role of Ha Young Eun, a strong professional fashion designer, while Jang Ki Yong will play the role of Yoon Jae Guk, a brilliant solo artist who changes his mind with love.
“Now We Are Breaking Up” airs every weekend, Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. KST.
“Now We Are Breaking Up”: Episode 1 & 2 (Mini Spoilers Ahead)
The first episode of the drama “Now We Are Breaking Up” began with Ha Young Eun and Yoon Jae Guk sharing a tragic night together. Ha Young Eun went to Hwang Chi Sook’s (Choi Hee Seo’s) day instead and met Yoon Jae Guk, and the two are connected by a series of events. Although Yoon Jae Guk expressed interest in Ha Young Eun, he tried to control himself. Still, they have both begun to feel the change in their emotions.
In particular, Ha Young Eun and Yoon Jae Guk faced an unexpected turn of events at the end of episode 2. Yoon Jae Guk asked Ha Young Eun, “Do you know Yoon Soo Wan?” mentioning his late older brother. Ha Young Eun replied, “I am in the middle of a break-up.”
Even before their relationship began to build up and grow, Ha Young Eun and Yoon Jae Guk encountered unexpected obstacles. The match revealed that the two first met 10 years ago in Paris. At the time, Ha Young Eun was studying abroad and living a busy life caring for Hwang Chi Sook. However, he was comforted by a photo he bought for 20 euros (about $ 23) taken by an anonymous photographer. That photographer was Yoon Jae Guk.
