Paris Hilton got the most romantic marriage proposal on her birthday, and we are all here for it.
On Saturday, February 13, DJ and entrepreneur, Paris Hilton got engaged to her boyfriend of one year, venture capitalist Carter Reum, who proposed to the influencer while the two were celebrating her birthday on a private island. After she said yes, the couple celebrated the moment and posed for photos on the beach.
“I am excited about this next chapter and having such a supportive partner,” Hilton says, “Our relationship is one of the equals. We make each other better people. He was absolutely worth the wait!” After the proposal, the couple sat down to an intimate dinner with family, including her sister, Nicky, and Reum’s brother, Courtney, and to toast their happy news.
“I couldn’t be more excited and lucky to have her as my future wife and partner,” entrepreneur Carter Reum says about soon-to-be wife Paris Hilton. “I have gotten the unique opportunity to get to know the real Paris on a daily basis just the two of us during these past 15 months and I couldn’t be more excited and lucky to have her as my future wife and partner. Hilton shared the pictures from the romantic moment on her Instagram handle and also her website.
In the pictures, we can see Reum down on one knee in front of Hilton on a luxurious island. The video montage which Paris has put on her social media is ever so romantic.
“When you find your soulmate, you don’t just know it. You feel it,” Paris captioned her Instagram announcement, “My love & I have been together since our first date, and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to a tropical paradise.”

This is the fourth time that Hilton has been engaged, having previously been proposed to by model Jason Shaw in 2002, Greek socialite Paris Latsis in 2005, and actor Chris Zylka in 2018.
