On Sunday, September 12, the trailer of “Qismat 2” starring Sargun Mehta and Ammy Virk appeared, revealing the tumultuous love story of the main duos.
The three-minute clip, directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, includes a flashback from the tragic ending of the first romantic drama, suddenly moving on to the sequel. The songs from the movie, namely the title track, Janam and Teri Ankheeyan, have already become a hit with the public, and the trailer promises additional soulful numbers for music lovers. The depiction of one-sided love becomes even more complicated when they meet again, and their exhilarating ride turns into a tearful experience. Announcing the trailer on her Instagram account, Sargun wrote: “And THE TRAILER IS OUT #QISMAT2 judaa yaar tohn karna rabb di fitrat hai, Mainu marr ke mileya tu, kaisi qismat hai. 23RD SEPTEMBER 2021 IN THEATRES NEAR YOU.”

The film was written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu in collaboration with Ankit Vijan, Navdeep Narula and Zee studios. In addition to Sargun Mehta and Ammy Virk, Tania, Manpreet Singh Mandi, Hardip Gill, Satwant Kaur, Rupinder Rupi, Amrit Amby, Balwinder Bullet and others also star in key roles. The famous Punjabi songwriter Jaani will also make his debut in the Punjabi film industry with his performance in the title track of the film, posing as the groom Bania. The music for the film was composed by B Praak, to lyrics by Jaani. Navneet Misser is responsible for the choreography and editing Manish More.
