Rage Against the Machine, the American rock band from Los Angeles have once again rescheduled their highly anticipated Public Service Announcement Tour. They took to their Instagram account to announce the news.
“Rage Against The Machine & Run the Jewels “Public Service Announcement” Tour is rescheduled. The Rage Against The Machine tour will now start in the spring of 2022. Your tickets will be honored for the postponed shows. Refunds are available at the original point of purchase for 30 days if you are unable to make it to the new date. We will see you next year.”, the members captioned the post.
Rage Against the Machine 2021: Tour Postponed to 2022
The shows were initially set for 2020 but were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and they are now set to begin in March 2022. The tour is expected to wrap up in August 2022.
The band had first announced their comeback shows in November 2019. These also included a headlining slot at the 2020 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The first concert was scheduled for March 26, 2020 in El Paso, Texas. The shows never took place due to COVID-19.
Popular hip-hip duo Run the Jewels have also rescheduled their tour to 2022 along with Rage Against the Machine.
March 31, 2022 Rage Against the Machine Tour Dates
The ‘Public Service Announcement Tour’ totals 38 dates, beginning on March 31 in El Paso, Texas and concluding in mid-August with five consecutive performances at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden.
The band mentioned in their announcement that fans who had previously purchased tickets to see Rage Against the Machine on the tour that was originally scheduled to begin in March of last year can retain their tickets as all previous purchases will be honoured. Tickets are still available for purchase as well and additional dates from the original schedule have been added too.
Will Ticketmaster refund for the tickets for Rage Against the Machine?
For those who have already bought the tickets for the shows and want a refund, Ticketmaster will refund them. If an event is cancelled, Ticketmaster usually issue a refund automatically. If the event is rescheduled or postponed, then you will have to return the ticket to their address, and once they get the ticket, they will refund the face value plus the service charge onto your card.
