Richard Okorogheye LIVE UPDATES: Police are appealing for help, from the public, to help find the 19-year-old Oxford University Student, in London, who has been missing since March 22, 2021. There has been no reports about Richard since that day and police are ‘increasingly concerned’ about the 19-year-old lost boy.
It is almost a week now since Richard has not come back to his home. There has not been even a single trace or whereabouts about the lost boy. Richard’s mum Evidence Joel is extremely worried about her son and told the police that he has been shielding since March 2020 due to the sickle cell disease he suffers with and in the last year would only leave the house to go to the hospital for regular blood transfusions.
Grammy’s 2021 Winner Dua Lipa also showed her concern about the 19-year-old lost Richard, and took to her Instagram to share the story with her fans, who might have any information about the lost boy.
Police are ‘Increasingly concerned’ for Richard Okorogheye
Kensington and Chelsea Police have tweeted on March 29, 2021 (Monday), appealing for help from the people to help them trace the lost boy who was last seen At Kensal Road, walking in the direction of Ladbroke Grove Sainsbury at 8:40 p.m.
They tweeted, “Officers are renewing appeals for help as they continue work to trace missing 19-year-old Richard Okorogheye. Richard is a student at #OxfordUni. He left his family home in the Ladbroke Grove area on 22 March. If you may have seen him, please call us.”

Chief Inspector McCarthy said that their officers are working tirelessly to find and trace Richard, utilising all investigation opportunities and data enquiries. Kensington and Chelsea Police tweeted, “Chief Insp McCarthy states “Our officers have been working tirelessly to locate Richard, utilising all investigative opportunities and data enquiries, speaking with witnesses and trawling CCTV. We are following every lead possible and are appealing for the public to help us.”

Joel, Richard’s mum, said that he has gone missing after telling her he was “struggling to cope” with the pressure of university and shielding during lockdown. She has been extremely worried about her lost son.
She fears Richard has become depressed as a result of his shielding and spends many hours a day locked in his room, and added that Richard recently told her he was “struggling to cope” with university where he studies Business and IT at Oxford Brookes, attending virtually.
“Richard has never done anything like this. Something has gone wrong,” Ms. Joel added.
