Sex Education season 3 : Netflix shared season 3 release date of the hit show “Sex Education”. The entire cast will be seen again. Netflix uncovered the release date, the third season is set to premiere on Friday, September 17th. In addition to unveiling release date, Netflix also shared first-look of the cast. Unfortunately, there’s no such trailer yet, but we won’t be left too much waiting for. Season 3 is definitley on it’s approach.
What will happen in Sex Education season 3 ??
In the beginning of June, Otis Milburn actor aka Asa Butterfield, tweeted “Lemme just say, you lot aren’t ready for season 3, trust me.” In an interview he also revealed that season 3 will not begin with where season 2 left off (Where Otis admitted his feelings for Maeve via voicemail which was later delected by Issac). This statement increasethe curiosity level amongst the viewers as it shows that some pretty big things will be happening in the upcoming season. It also seems that season 3 won’t be the end of the way just yet, as Wood claims that she was already discussing potential plot lines for a 4th season.

CONFIRMED : Season three will drop on September 17th, 2021, with eight episodes only on Netflix. September 9th 2020 officially declared that Sex Education season 3 is in production.

Season 3 Cast : Who’s coming back and new lead??
In the end of 2nd series everyone’s heart broke, After the whole season of will-they or won’t-they, Otis finally unveiled his feelings for Maeve. The main cast of Sex Education will be coming back for season 3 – Otis (Asa Butterfield), Maeve (Emma Mackey), Jean (Gillian Anderson), Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood), Jackson (Kedar Williams Stirling), Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), Adam (Connor Swindells) and nefarious Mr. Groff (Alistar Petrie). They all featured in the season three renewal video.
Olivia (Simone Ashley) will also return. While, Maeve’s mom Erin (Anne Duff) is also confirmed to return. We might also expect to see more of Steve (Chris Jenks), Remi (James Purefoy), Roz (Sharon Duncan Brewster) and Sofia (Hannah Waddingham).

Apart from this, Netflix also revealed that Jemima Kirke would be Moordale’s new headmistress as “Hope”, Dua Saleh will be playing “Cal”, a student who will clash with Hope and Jason Isaacs will be playing “Peter Groff” as Mr. Groff’s older brother ‘more successful’.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for Season 3 over a year, as the wait has been too intense due the cliffhanger at the end of series 2 (Where Otis came clean about his feelings for Maeve).

There will be eight episodes, and all of them will drop at once on Netflix, Fans can binge watch it. And, NO, there is no such trailer for season 3 yet. It will drop closer to the release date.
