Jo Hyun-tak’s K-drama Snowdrop, starring the famous Blackpink member Jisoo and Jung Hae-in takes us back several years to 1987 when South Korea was in the midst of political turmoil and people were protesting their sovereignty and demanding democracy. It started by giving us a glimpse into the lives of Hosu University hostel students, their difficulty in returning home, the consistent rules of the bedrooms, and the humorous jokes among the girls living in the hostel. WHAT IS SNOWDROP ABOUT?
‘Snowdrop’ focuses on the lives of Lim Soo-ho and Eun Yeong-ro, who meet and fall in love at first sight, but life has other plans for them. Set in South Korea in 1987, the first episode of the series center revolves around the foundation of Soo-ho and Yeong-ro’s first encounter, which changed their lives. The episode also focuses on the shocking mysteries about Soo-ho and concludes with an amazing cliffhanger regarding the fate of a student.
