The Vampire Diaries lead actress Nina Dobrev who played the role of Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce just announced that she will be making her appearance in the new and fourth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things. The famous fantasy horror show has a very big fandom and Nina’s announcement just made everyone get on their feet in anticipation.
The actress who rose to fame with her lead role in the fantasy, record breaking show The Vampire Diaries which ran from 2009 to 2017. The show has 8 seasons with 171 episodes. The show’s cast also includes Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesly, Kat Graham, Candice King and Joseph Morgan.
“Stranger Things have happened”: Nina Dobrev to star in Netflix series
After the release of her Netflix movie “Love Hard”, Nina Dobrev posted a picture of her on Instagram, announcing that she will be starring in the fourth season of Netflix’s super hit series, Stranger Things.
The post showed Nina Dobrev (probably in her avatar as Katherine Pierce) outside the building, marked “Hawkins High School: The Leopard’s Home.” The post had captions that read, “stranger things have happened …” The 1.9 million likes Instagram post made fans think that the ‘Love Hard’ and Vampire Diaries actress is now set to appear in Stranger Things Season 4.

STRANGER THINGS: WHAT WILL NINA ACT AS?
As per some sources, Nina Dobrev will be coming as a cameo in Stranger Things Season 4. Nina’s teaser on Instagram have sparked fans’ comments, although the recording of the show has been completed. But there is a small window before Stranger Things is released in the summer of 2022, and Dobrev’s arrival could lead to major issues on the show’s run.
Audiences are likely to see a new face this season with no doubt of surprise as of November 2020 and June 2021; Duffer Brothers has given a look to new residents in Hawkins, featuring Booksmart star Eduardo Franco and Twilight actor Jamie Campbell Bower.

Fans are keeping their eyes out for a potential spin off of Stranger Things, based on Millie Bobby Brown’s character Eleven.MBB currently plays a key role in Stranger Things and Enola Holmes – and, as revealed during the conference, both titles are currently in the top 10 of Netflix’s most popular series and films. Millie will once again play the role of Enola Holmes in the upcoming film sequel, which was announced in May.
