Stray Kids from JYP Entertainment made a powerful comeback with their second full album called “No Easy”. The eight-member boy band is now a million-seller and the first-ever artist under JYP to sell a million albums. Read on to know more about their comeback and sales.
STRAY KIDS: JYP’S FIRST MILLION SELLER
According to the Korean music chart called Gaon Chart on August 31 KST, Stray Kids’ 2nd full album ‘NOEASY’ surpassed 1.1 million copies in overall album sales.
Earlier, ‘NOEASY’ had recorded 930,000 copies in pre-order sales, showing the green light on the successful return of the Stray Kids. Following the official release of ‘NOEASY’, the Stray Kids received 641,589 copies in the first week of album sales. In addition, ‘NOASY’ has included a chart for the weekly album Hanteo Chart (August 23 ~ August 29). Following the group’s big win in the reality show Kingdom: Legendary War, South Korean band Stray Kids returns with a powerful music video for the title track ‘Thunder’ for their second full album, ‘NOEASY’.
STRAY KIDS : THUNDEROUS
The music video takes place according to traditional Korean tradition with the lost children wearing a hanbok. The group not only sings self-deprecating songs, but the dance art is powerful as well as an attractive set that many have seen in Korean movies and dramas. The song features a mix of traditional Korean instruments and a modern trap – something the Stray Kids are known for – to try out the sounds you’ve seen in ‘God’s Menu’ and ‘Back Door’. In all, the 14th NO EASY album has a song for everyone. Boasting rich vocals, rap verses, and a strong presence, Stray Kids continues to strengthen its empire as a self-producing band.
On August 17 at midnight KST, group teaser photos and unit photos were unveiled on the official Stray Kids social media account. Stunning and stylish, the boys look ready to go down into some critical business.
