Parineeti Chopra’s much awaited flick- The Girl On The Train is soon to be premiered on Netflix. The film’s trailer has finally been dropped after three weeks of the teaser reveal.
The movie unwraps as a dark story with thrilling performances by the characters. Along side Parineeti, the film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary of Bulbbul fame. Parineeti Chopra’s The Girl On The Train is set to premiere on Netflix on 26 February 2021.
Parineeti plays the role of Mira Kapoor, who suffers from amnesia, a type of memory loss, from what the trailer suggests, she is also dealing with alcoholism. She fights her inner demons and tries to make her way through the murder mystery she gets involved in. The dark side of the actress looks convincing as she tries to remembers lost parts of her memory during questioning in a murder investigation.
The Girl On The Train is the official adaption of Emily Blunt’s 2016 Hollywood film and is based on Paula Hawkins’ novel of the same name. Aditi Rao Hydari plays the role of Mobi Mehta who is found in the woods, murdered in cold blood.

The cast of the movie took to their official Instagram accounts to post an insight about the new flick. Parineeti Chopra posted a clip from the trailer announcing the release of the movie to her 31.3 million followers.
Kirti Kulhari, who is seen playing the role of a cop in the film shared the trailer and wrote, “All the evidence point in one direction. But, is there more to this story?Catch #TGOTT on 26th Feb to uncover the secrets, only on Netflix.”
Talking about the film, Parineeti Chopra said in a statement, “The Girl On The Train was an entirely different experience for me as I have never played this kind of a role before. Getting into the character of Meera Kapoor and working closely with Ribhu to bring her to life was an immense learning experience for me. As an actor, I have always wanted to challenge myself, and this role gave me the opportunity to do so. The Girl On The Train will take the audiences on a dark journey trying to piece together the reality of who actually committed the crime and have them guessing the truth!”
Netflix India shared the trailer of “The girl on the train” on their official Twitter account. Viewers’ interest has been piqued since the crime thriller is so gripping, it is evident even in the trailer.
