Original Netflix film The Adam Project is a second mainstream action comedy directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Reynolds, the brigadier general of wisecracks. Free Guy, their previous film, was a late-summer box office smash and a likable-enough diversion, which is about what we anticipate from Reynolds, who is a highly dependable fun guy. Read on to know if the new movie is worth watching or not.
WHAT IS THE ADAM PROJECT ABOUT?
To begin with, middle-aged Adam (Reynolds) must fly back to 2018 to conduct a “rescue mission” in secret. Instead, he makes a blunder and crashes in 2022, where he encounters his 12-year-old self (played by newcomer Walker Scobell). Both Adams must now fight some huge evil men and figure out a method to get to 2018, all while tending to their emotional wounds.
WHEN AND WHERE TO STREAM THE ADAM PROJECT?
From Friday, March 11 at 3 a.m. ET, The Adam Project will be available to view exclusively on Netflix. Alternatively, it’s 12 a.m. PT, 8 a.m. GMT, 1.30 p.m. IST, and 7 p.m. AEDT.
CAST OF THE ADAM PROJECT
Talking about the star cast, the couple that is helped on their voyage by the older Adam’s wife Laura (Zoe Saldana) and their father Louis (Mark Ruffalo). Ellie, their mother, is played by Jennifer Garner. Despite the fact that Saldana and Ruffalo had substantial amounts, Garner doesn’t get anything to eat. Garner and Ruffalo don’t appear onscreen together very often, so it can be assumed that they were cast together just to capitalize on the “13 Going on 30” HYPE.
