The Kapil Sharma Show Closing : Why Sony TV's Prime Time Show is going off air?

The Kapil Sharma show is to go off air in mid February due to absence of live audience. The show is hosted be comedian and actor Kapil Sharma. Viewers are disappointed as their favorite family show will no longer be aired as it brought them years and years of laughter and smiles.

The show is one of India’s most watched TV shows with a lot of celebrities coming in every weekend. Apart from Kapil, the show also features Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Archana Puran Singh (celebrity guest). Another reason for the show to go off air is lack of film promotions. The makers and cast have decided to put things on halt and might bounce back eventually when the situation is better.

Kapil Sharma’s wife is expecting their second baby and it deems fit for him to take a break and focus on his family and friends.

The latest episode of the show featured Sonu Sood. Here’s a short clip from the same.

The Kapil Sharma show ran for nearly two years and was later on a break due to Covid -19 pandemic. The show might return to the tv screen after a three month break.
